    I did that trail last year. Here's some pics of those same rocks (though it looks like they added a few) from last year.

    I beat the shit out of my step bars on that trail. Enough to convince me that they are shit so I took them off ;)

    Sean I thought the X pipe was for any V8 to balance sound out on dual mufflers :confused: Couldn't you benefit soundwise as well when you do the exhaust on the Tundy?

    Jace, Why is my airbag light on???????????????
    Does this mean it is not functioning?

    EDIT: After a quick search I realized that I pulled the seat out for a nice deep cleaning of the interior and probably just forgot to plug the weight sensor back in. My bad.

    You're correct on the sound part. Exhaust Pros said it's merely for muscle cars that need more HP than torque for towing and what not (?) {{I THINK that what they said}}

    Ill give MSV / coney flats a go after i get sliders. With the proper wheel placement and a good spotter i think ill be ok. I hadn't done the diff breather mod before we were up there either so i had 2 excuses not to run that trail.

    great pictures by the way!!!

    Hey, this is the day that I saw you up there. Wish we could have run the trail together.

    No, I destroyed my rocker panel on road 507 (the one that runs from Beaver Res/Coney Flats to Middle St Vrain). There are 3 obstacles there that were just too gnarly with fully inflated tires :(

    Yeah, that's the obstacle but the fence isn't there anymore (and I don't remember it being there last year either). Plus there are significantly more boulders that have been added.

    And yup, I did the Coney Creek crossing (the one in my sig) last year

    Yeah, they added a significant amount of bigger boulders on the left side (in these pics).

    I found out that a 4x4 club in Denver maintains that obstacle and they made it much more challenging to keep the Muranos and other SUV warriors off the trail, because inevitably they end up needing rescuing farther up the trail.

    Like I said, I've been going up to that trail for almost 20 years now, and this is the first time I was like this when I saw that obstacle:

    Lol, nice face. I agree that the beginning should be hard to let you know how hard the obstacles are to come. Stock SUVs without skilled drivers or even the cars that think it's a dirt trail should not be on some of the trails. St Vrain is typically super packed all along the first part of the trail up to the first main obstacle about a mile up the trail. Maybe these additional rocks will keep the traffic down. That is by far my favorite camping and fishing and wheeling place.

    HA HA HA, yeah i had that same face when i saw a stock ford ranger bangin out his truck trying to get up MSV. We ran it in the fall, probably one of the last weekends it was open but i remember a couple friends helped put those fences in so people would stop being retards and widening the trail to get around the big rock obstacle. People just need to be smart and if you cant get up and over the entrance obstacle then they shouldn't be on that trail in the first place.

    By the way this was by no means pointed at you. Did you get sliders put on? i seem to remember you looking for a pair local
