i'm in the same boat. my RCD kit came missing one of the centering washers on the front bracing... i'm having difficulty getting RCD to call me back. I went through Wheelers Off Road and they've been great and have been trying with RCD as well. Looks good though. Once I get it, I can align it and take it home!!! Here's the current shot...

Mine does not do either of those, it's a very quiet ride. I love the quality of this lift.

Crap. Mine rides well. I don't really know what to compare it to because I've never lifted. Definitely not a factory ride and it does make a creak/clunk noise as it went over a speedbump. Now I'm starting to get ill.

Issued diagnosed and corrected! Like PaganTacoma, my sway bar was touching the factory skid plate braces. We put a sturdy piece of rubber between those metal pieces but it was still so tight it severed the rubber in two after 24 hours. Since I'm not using that factory plate and they are thin metal, I assume they really don't have much use, so I just removed them. Good as gold baby.

    Here she sits...

I really want this kit just concerned about the cutting on the frame as it seems you need to do this in the installation guide.

I don't have the appropriate cutting tool...

Only thing I've done is the RCD but I'm drooling over your leafs in the back. I'm liking those! Next up though... Rails. Wait wait... next is to pay off the credit card after that lift!

@Gritesh.... I was nervous at first when I learned about the frame cut but this lift is engineered so well and is braced so well... it's perfectly fine. Couldn't be happier.

i got the leafs and i couldnt be happier. next is a one piece drive-shaft. originally i was uncertain of cutting the frame so i bought a set of coilovers ran them about 8k miles before i got tired of the stiff ride as i do not offroad at all so i went bigger and i am extremely happy with the decision... imo the lift is built better than the truck itself.

I want to get the alcans in the rear as well, but after the cost of the lift and installation, I'll need to save for a little while. MasterCard is loving me!!! :)

Better than stock ride. Clearance at the crossmemeber is about 12 inches if I remember correctly from the last time I measured.

trying to decide on a lift for my 2012 DCSB sport auto. i'm 99% sure i want to do the RCD... now that this thread is pretty old and a lot of you guys have some miles on your lift's do you still like them? How are they after some miles on them? any vibrations?

this kit looks great.. and i dont wheel my truck (have a rubicon for that).. mostly just on road and i want the same or better ride/handling as factory. also want to be able to run close to a 33x12.5.

also since you change the knuckles will i have to run an 18in wheel like on the 6in lifts or will my 17's work?
