Wrapped up my fence project yesterday. I even installed "bird spike"

This is what happens when you leave me alone with a 3.75" nails and a nail gun

Every exterior board has a nail at a 45* angle for "birds" of course. Also the boards them selves are fucking vicious! And the exterior is lower by about 2" so the nails are directly behind them. I like it cause it's gnarly but from the outside it looks like a nice fence & keeps my neigborhood looking good

happy 4th of July 805 peeps! have fun tomorrow, be safe and celebrate 'MERICA!!!

i'm gonna be drunk by 10 AM, watch the Ojai parade while riding my bike around with my AMERICAN flag attached to it with my bro-migos, yell at people, pee in some bushes, get "talked to" by the cops, pass out for an afternoon nap, and then wake up hung over and start all over again in the afternoon, enjoy some bbq and watch the fireworks.

i love the 4th of july!!!

Matt, does everyone in ojai pretty much know each other? Seems like a small enough town.
But that sounds like fun..the getting drunk, peeing in bushes part.

for the most part, yeah. ojai is super small town.

the parade is awesome. totally what you would expect from a small town. people set up their chairs a week in advance. my buddies and i have a tradition that we ride our bikes around during the parade and get piss drunk and enjoy the day.

i'll be sure to get some good pics to share with you guys.

this was 2 years ago on the 4th. i was waaaay gone by this point. my parents have this picture on their fridge...lol my dad loves it, my mom hates it.

it's usually pretty busy. dargans, rookies and el rey are usually pretty packed... and the star lounge is all old people so if i do go downtown ventura i hit up winchesters lol

around 1 AM everybody heads over the the sewer (crappy dive bar across from the ventura theater) because they stay open till 2

Ojai is definitely small town, my moms been in the parade for the past few years and I've never actually made it to one. Ojai's bar scene is ... Matt chime in here haha

Ventura has a street fair along main street during the day on the 4th which is pretty fun and the fire works are great. Night life is a lot of fun there friends and I have definitely gotten piss drunk and stumbled around a few times...
