I have a couple of kits I am selling that are built for 1st gen 5 lug trucks, this kit gives you everything you need to install a much larger braking system to your Tacomas front end where its needed in a big way depending on many factors..

The kit includes offset caliper brackets, custom adapter hat to fit a Willwood rotor to the stock hub assy., a pair of custom made DOT brake lines by Crown, Adapter fittings for the line to caliper connection, all the fasteneng hardware necessary for installation.

The things you will need to purchase through Summit or Jegs (I have part number for everything!) are the Dynalite 4 piston calipers, a pair of rotors, and a set of pads, everything else comes with the kit.

Options are upgraded 6 piston calipers (way overkill, but whatever, lol) and various rotor choices from plain to slotted, etc.... and I believe there are a few formulas available in the pads as well.

I am selling the kit for $450 in the CONT US.

Pics..all the parts in the picture are included

Please respond ASAP by PM if you want one as I only have 3 available and not sure if I will make more!!

    Thanks!

Nothin? Good thing I didnt make a full batch of these things, lol.

Everybody on the planet and their brother wanted one during development, now nothin but crickets! At least I only need to get rid of 3 kits..

I have a V8 under the hood and previous to that I had a big turbo so I need big brakes, and now it stops on a dime, figured this would be a good option for guy who either have big tires (off-road) or extra power..

Is the stock 5 lug brake booster strong enough? How much do the upgraded calipers cost?

Booster is fine, calipers are about $130 each, rotors start at about $35...

    Got 1 kit left only!

nice kit but i have a buddy who is a machinist and does this stuff for the datsun guys and its alot cheaper considering, not trying to low ball you or anything but i think the kit he sells is like 130.00 bucks with out hoses of course. But nice kit i have six lug and if the price was more justifiable i would be all over it.

    $130 huh?

I pay more than that for the 2 custom hats alone, then there are the brackets to consider which are also custom made from a solid block of Billet 6061 T-6 Aluminum..stuff was expensive to make since I couldnt find any rotor hats already available that work with my application from willwood.

But it is what it is, cost me way too much and wont do it again...
And for what I am charging I am making squat since I would need serious volume to make it worthwhile . The lines and hardware all add up to more than you would think as well..

Anyway nice little truck man, looks clean..

Its all good man, I just wanted to let people know that these parts werent cheap and cost me a lot to have made but thats on me, so I have scrapped the kit I was trying to produce due to cost and demand and am selling off the 2 kits I have left, everybody wanted them during development and now nothin but crickets.....I try to help people and I get stuck with the bill, cant blame me for trying..trust me I am giving a hell of a deal, after shipping and everything else I am making $40, and dont forget to consider the $100s in R&D I spent trying different things that ended up in the trash, so if I am lucky I will only have lost a few hunderd bucks and tons of free work hours.

    Is what it is..

Stay safe out there, I worked as a FF/medic about 18 years ago (granted it was a volunteer unit), I gave up trying to find a job back then and had to persue other things, FML..
