Oh stop it. The only gods on the buff are the ones who can close the cowling right on the first try.

I am now working iso on the c-130 ski birds.

Hey, did anyone see the new shredouts for MX? I am glad EE/Hydro are safe but it seems everyone else is basically stuck on the acft they are one! I would recommend reading it on the AFPC site if you haven't been told about it yet.

thought you guys would like this.

Saw this on another page and had to repost..."Aircraft Maintainers are the Air Force. Without maintainers, the aircraft wouldn’t get prepared to fly; therefore, no need for pilots, engineers, loadmasters. No planes to fly equal no need for control tower folks, administration, supply, firemen, medical folks, commanders, or anyone else. So, the next time you see an air maintainer drenched from the rain, shaking from the cold, wind burnt, sunburnt, covered in grease, oil, hydraulic fluid, hungry, and tired – thank them for all their sacrifices so you can sit in your heated, air conditioned offices, eating donuts, drinking coffee, and pretending you’re important."

I'm not so sure E/E is safe. I speak with my functional often and I was told sometime in 2013 that there will be A/B/C shreds until you TSgt. This could have been shot down since he informed me so I'll try to remember to speak with him about it and post back any info.

Well, while speaking with the functional can you get me out of McConnell please? Maybe Hickam or anywhere in California? I am a TSgt now... Even the East coast (heavies) is ok with me.

Haha. At Tyndall AFB their ECP is controlled by laser sensors that go up about 5 feet. Whenever TDY there we always try to jump over them, we never clear them and the SP's are out there in minutes. We just run to our jets and act like we didn't see anything or blame the Canadians...they always seem to be there when we are, lol

Probably AF... but no. Structures isn't really aircraft maintainers. You guys do mainly off equipment work in your shop and usually expect us to pull the part or panel for you.

Yes af the reason I'm going that is I failed the stupid color blindness test. So I didn't have much to choose from so. Once I get in I'm going to try cross training into something else. My plan was pj I've already passed the past test for sere. So we will see how it goes in about a year. Leave date as of right now is June 1 st
