    youd have to do a cost analysis of what the products would cost to make
    ie time material shipping ect. and what similar items sale for. think what would make mine different than the others (what is my edge over the others). could i possible sell for less or are the margins pretty much set for this type of fabrication.. some people find it helpful to get a legal pad draw line down the middle, on one side cons and on side pros. lots of research. if their is a chance then go for it. but dont touch savings and let the business stand or fall on its own.:cool:

    If you get into doing bumpers and sliders and such don't limit yourself to 2nd Gen Tacomas. The market is saturated, although there are only a few local companies. Sliders and skids would probably be a better start than doing bumpers. Bed racks (expo style, not headache style) could also be a good startup.

    one thing that should help is your location, not to many vendors down here in texas so everybody has to get shit shipped to them. That ranges anywhere form 75 bucks and more....
