    yes my initial purchase was made today for my D60 front and 14b rear, things have been set in motion

    it could be tight that i dont make it in my truck, but if thats the case someone will need to pick me up from the airport

    dont get me started i dropped 4k easy since jan and that would have paid for most of my d60 build

    oh well gotta start somewhere

    i think after august ill strip down to factory skid and just take it easy until shes ready, i think i can still get another 1000 out of my skids yet but well see

    i gotta pound a couple dents out :p

    might stop me from doing a few runs

    the good new is with my locker and gears sold, im 1 step closer to building the front axle

    It wasn't too bad. With a friend, setting up the RTT to a couple of hours all total. There were no installation instructions included. :laughing:

    I ended up locating it where I did for 2 reasons. I would not go any closer to the cab because it becomes difficult to set up and put away. Also, one of the rain fly rods for the front window just barely clears the cab where it is now. If the tent base was any lower or further forward, that rod would hit the cab and be impossible to use.

    The 2nd (and most important) reason was it looks better IMO if it is a little closer to the tailgate.

    Nice tents guys! a RTT is without question one of the nicest camping upgrades. The super fast setup/putaway time is alomst worth it alone. Next best thing after the tent is a fridge. For me between the tent and the fridge my camping experience is SOOOO much nicer. Especially for my wife. Mikes all the difference for her.

    Fridge is definitely on my list! That I feel like makes camping almost luxurious haha but I'm going to redo my stereo so I can fit a fridge in the cab at some point. They are hella pricy tho!
