    Morning, all!

We had a strong storm blow through last night about 6 - high winds and driving rain. We lost power - finally came back on at about 4AM this morning. We have an automatic back-up generator that keeps our well, septic, heating systems going, keeps the freezers and refrigetators going and gives us some lights, outlets, TV and cooktop so we had no problems.

There are a bunck of twigs and branches on the driveway - and one tree that fell next to the driveway that I will have to cut up. Several trees fell across the township road out of our place - they came by and opened the road by about 8 and will be back to clean up today.

Not what I anticipated the 4th would bring!!

Hope you all had a great day!!

morning all: had a "NOISEY" storm go through last night, but no mess in the yard.

Looks like someone else gets to pick up sticks this time! :D

going to sign up for medicare today, and also pick a supplement Insurance for what isn't covered by medicare.
going to the local "dept. of aging", to get this taken care of.
See what can go wrong with this, but then I'll just go back to them and ask; what's this?, and HOPEFULLY they'll straighten it out. HOPEFULLY being the key word!
Looks like AARP will be the supplement. Most people I talk to have gone with that.

    evening all:
sounds like a good idea Sue. 15 min. work and 45 min. hiding, especially in this heat.

came back on to relay this.
A young girl that I know supposedly has "hoof and mouth disease". :notsure::notsure:!
according to her brother, her son was sick from this and somehow she contracted it. It's supposed to be almost unheard of in adults.
It's been many, many, years since I even heard the term used.
