For some reason, I enjoy watching shows like Cops, Destroyed in seconds, and other shows in that category. It seems like every episode of Destroyed in seconds has at least 2 natural gas tank explosions that destroys a city block, at least a couple of motorcycle accidents, and one or two collapsing buildings that are on fire. My Wife generally hates these shows. But I find them oddly relaxing and entertaining.

My husband and I get soooooooooo sick & tired of the speed boat accidents. They always look the same and there's one on EVERY episode...catch air, flip up in the air, rescue guy out of capsule....

The show definitely makes me wary of propane tanks. Its insane what just one of those BBQ tanks can do when they go off. And to think that I have several of them out back.

In high school I remember seeing a car fire out by one of our shopping malls. My buddy and I went to see whats up, And it was a girl from school and her mom. Apparently they had a propane tank filled, un beknownst to them the guy overfilled. it they Put it in the trunk and down the road it exploded... The girl and her mother were ok though. Minor burns.

but yeah, All those shows on nat geo, dioscovery, history, And spike tv are awesome!

Did you see the latest Mythbusters when they strapped the rockets to that sled and smashed it into the car? I still can't get over how ungodly fast that thing was going!

Well... out here in Cali you can get a sticker that says "clean car certified" or something like that if your car runs on propane, which means you can go through the carpool lane and not pay bridge tolls. So there are fleets of Taxi cabs and vans that run on propane. They have a HUGE tank strapped in the trunk. I always make sure and stay back quite a ways when I see the propane sticker on these cars because they make me a tad nervous.

If one of those things got in a wreck....

I have one pet peeve with the destroyed in seconds (and similar shows): EVERY TIME they are in the middle of a crash or whipeout it cuts to commercial. It frustrates my roomate and I to no end
