    Ok so I am at my friends place in nicaragua right now and they have on 08 Hilux and may i just say.... why the hell can't we have these in the US?!?!
    They are so sick.. they definitely aren't as appealing to the eye as our tacos but the deisel and option for turbo'd deisel are so sick and the manual 4WD instead of our turn knob for 4x4...
    I looked up trying to get one into the US and the only ways are if you only do it temporarily or have it made to US specs i guess( not sure what they are) and if yu do that there is a 20% duty and tax due on the price i guess.... anyone got any ideas or know why they don't allow them as they are? i would trade my taco in a heart beat

    They have to meet US safety stuff. We might have a better chance of getting them imported a lot cheaper if we had a group buy. Count me in if someone does this.
