Has anyone installed these? If so how do you get the wheel well clips off without busting them up or do you need to install new ones? Any advice is appreciated

I tried carefully and broke 3 out of 3 clips i tried, then I did not care anymore and ripped out the rest.

As for mounting the huskys, I just reused those 3 oem bolts that were left from the rear oem flaps (all clips broken) and so far no problems. Sold OEM's for $100. Also did not bother with the strip of clear tape as I already have paint peeled off on all four corners from OEM flaps as most people do. :( I will be mounting front Husky mud flaps for winter and will use their hardware as I sold my OEM fronts for $100 including mounting hardware.

OEM flaps sold for $200, Huskys purchased for $70. Same or better qualilty imo with $130 extra cash = win!

Hey cryton, just bought a crapload of those clips on eBay. I'll install the flaps after I cut em down and get the clips. If you want email me your address and I'll send you what I got left of the clips. No charge

    Need help
i just put these on. I used the Harbor Freight trim kit tools. Slid the fork under the clip with light pressure and they all came out with out breaking. However, I am a little confused or possibly misunderstanding. The Husky's do not reuse the plastic OEM clips. They come with two screws and you reuse the bolts that come out.

FYI be careful to only put the OEM bolts back in until they are snug. They are screwing into plastic and is very easy to strip out if you are trying to get them tight. The screws and clips that come with the flaps can get pretty tight. I would also suggest you take all the hardware and just each one started. Then move the flap so it is in the position you want and then tighten everything down at once. Good luck!!

    Thanks Rich, pm'd.

I may still put some plastic clips on. I just had to take them off quickly as I had a buyer for the OEM's and did not have much time and did not want to remove the wheels either. Figured I try reusing OEM bolts and it worked out well. Have it like this for several weeks now and they are snug. I already had missing clips on the OEM rear flaps and they were basically holding on with those three bolts only anyway.
