I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Camping was the original plan. We need to get it figured out so we can call ahead and reserve everything.

We'll see about the official jeep recovery vehicle thing.

I was planning on camping as well, just Saturday night tho. Let's get together on here and figure out who wants to camp so we can try and get some sites together. Earlier we put in a reservation the better, so we should get on this. Count me in as camping. I may have up to 4 other persons coming, but only one extra truck (the Jeep XJ)

It would be so funny to see some decals with "Official Jeep Recovery Vehicle" on some Tacoma trucks!

EDIT: I don't see on the Stoney website about camping. Is there a campsite on premise, or will we have to find one close by? Also, I am guessing many of us will caravan up from Birmingham? If so, wher would we meet up? I am most likely bringing at least one extra vehicle with me, and I was thinking we could meet up in Birmingham off 65 somewhere.

I think you have to call about camping. Thats why I want to get the number of people tallied up first. If I have to, I'll just head back to my place for the night since i'm only like 45 minutes away

I would, but I have promised a guy from my work to carry him down to Ditto on Saturday. If something happens with that, I'll head out that way with you.

har har har. Thats what I keep finding on craigslist too. I'm going to have to put off lockers for quite a while. Insurance bills came in the email and I totally forgot my insurance was due this month.

I DOUBT ANYONE will get stuck at Stoney! That place is super friendly!!! You really don't need 4wd for anything except maybe one or two spots... We will be able to cover the whole entire park within the first day.. That's how easy..

I wheeled behind a guy in a totally stock 2011 4Runner out in Moab on Fins 'n' Things. Guy wheeled the piss out of it. All he had was sliders. Stock tires too. It was pretty wild. He scraped up the sliders on a few spots where I didn't even with a long wheelbase because of the lift, but other than that he went everywhere I did.

It's all about the line. Though, Bill, I have a feeling you knew that already ;).

(Of course, it's a bogus comparison. Mud is way different and totally unforgiving on tire selection...)
