    So anyone got a good, experienced guy for gear/diff work. And has done a Tacoma before!!! My truck is not happy right now. Stay away fro. Pure power offroad/service...did full regear last June....he had to redo rear 2 times. Been having noise again, and it's getting worse :facepalm:

    Could just whole rebuilt diff from calminitruck or ecgs fir $6-700 and be done. Just would rather have a person local for issues or repairs.

    If it were me I would ship the 3rd to ECGS. Have them rebuild it.

    Its so easy to install a 3rd but getting a quality rebuild is tricky.

    If you don't mind shipping or the drive, I only trust my diffs/gears in the hands of the guys up here in SLO @ American Gear. They work on TONS of Tacomas. Re-gearing, rebuilding, etc...

    I had them install my Auburn posi-trac as well as rebuild my front differential months ago w/o any problems to report. Anything that has to do with differentials or gears, they are your go-to!
