    That's a new door/lid?

Looks like you just cut a hole in the OEM one.

Most important question: how does it sound? Does it rattle too much? At all? Did you seal up the compartment? Any deadner?

Can I ask any more questions?

    Does that ^ count?

    How do I end this?

    :annoyed:

    Thanks man
:p I would still vote for black walls all day..Looks clean to me. But I also like the 80 bucks saved that's in my pocket. :) Next set of tires will be BFG 265/75s black walls

Yup ill add pics of the process to my build tomorrow as a somewhat write up and link it to you.

I wanted to keep the OEM door in case i didnt like it, the only thing still oem is the carpet i just used to cover the new one in which i did have to cut a hole in but carpet can be replaced.

It sounds decent at best for it to be a surround sound sub. I plan to get a decent quality sub to put in there at which time ill take the whole thing out and deaden it all. For now its just stuffed full of polyfill and doesnt rattle any that i can tell.

If you got anymore questions or specific things just ask away, ill answer as best as i can. & for the record i spent about 2 hours total from start to finish but the flush mount part was sort of tricky otherwise it would have been a very quick build

Im actually glad you said it looked OEM, that was my whole plan, only different in mine and OEM is mine is about 1/8" thiker but you really dont notice it

    Thanks so much.

I'll definitely hit you up when it comes time to upgrading my audio.

I love the sleeper look and the ability to use the back seat(s)... don't need anything that's gonna hit so hard it'll make me poop my intestines out. Just want some nice clean low end with a nice hit.

Yea thats exactly how ive been since i got my old school 4/ch amp an hooked it upto my Hertz up fronts and a single sub out back. I wouldnt change a thing! & probably will keep it as 1 8" cause i like the flush look of this. If i ever changed id goto a downfiring fiberglass box behind the center console for a 10

For automatic trannys. It changes the shift points to higher rpms so you get more of the power band.

Had it in my 86 lol was hilarious. Was called power or normal for the buttons

When I have cruise on with no ECT my engine revs like a mo fo up hills. With ECT on it feels way better. Thats with my 2.7 taco and my old 96 4runner v6. It seems like it doesnt search for the high rpms with it on.
