There's also a 2% dealer holdback and 1% financial reserve on every vehicle. This is a 3% rebate from Toyota.

Well, I'm back. Just put down a deposit for a 2012. It's a DCLB, TRD Sport (not the TRD Sport Upgrade), Entune/JBL, 4x4, Tow Package, Magnetic Grey. MSRP of $35,200, roughly. I'm paying $31,900 OTD. Dropping a huge down payment of $15,000. Couldn't be happier. Sold my '05 2 years ago. More than excited to be a Tacoma owner again! Unfortunately though, I won't be able to pick the truck up until September. I'm in the middle of changing bases.

Look out for snakes in the grass guerrilla marketing.
I bought a 2012 Double Cab Long Bed TRD Sport, (only 2wd) towing package etc. earlier this year for under 27k, no dealer fees and free tires and batteries from the dealer for the life of the truck.

Smoothest no bullshit transaction I have ever experienced from a dealer- brought my father in law with me for some sage advice and he was as dumbstruck as I was, none of that typical haggling stuff and was in and out in like an hour. Figures, I was just looking for a test drive lol

Being quoted a USAA price of $29,426 at a dealer in Atlanta. Dealer closer to me in Florida USAA price is $30,426. This is a 2012 DCSB MGM 4x4 TRD OR, only option is HD all weather flooring...these prices include delivery fees but not tax, tag or title.
    1) Good price? The Atlanta dealer looks really fair based on my excel-ing. Hopefully FL will come close. However, it's kind of moot because:
    2) I'm being told there are no more 2012s anywhere with the all weather flooring, and it's too late to build a 2012...should I wait for 2013s, or get a 2012 and weather-tech liners?

For the record I am not really in a hurry, "must/want to buy now" situation.

Thanks! Looking forward to owning a Taco

Just bought a 2012 4x4 double cab, MGM, off road package, DRL, tow, exhaust tip, floor mats and D&H for $31,353 from Toyota of Huntington Beach. This was better than the AAA deal ($32,600 without exhaust tip) from Toyota of Orange.

Was this a Baja? Or are you just a bad negotiator?

    :(
Its nnot my truck, it's my dads. I'm just here just for him :D we got the truck for $35k before all the taxes and ish. Idk how they negotiated tho. I just know a dealer in Tampa gave us a better price ($32k same truck, but different color) but didn't have MGM or Nautical Blue. They pulled the trigger anand just bought. They were tired of researching and waiting. And I know the price.varies based on location.

Not a Baja, just an MGM DCLB TRD Sport 4x4

Actually, not really. MSRP is MSRP (as far as I understand it)

however, final price does vary based on negotiation skills...or lack thereof.

sounds like he paid full msrp + tax, tag, title, and every fee the dealer could dream up. and there is nothing wrong with that, if that is the exact truck he wanted...and his time was better spent elsewhere than looking/negotiating on trucks.

Acton Toyota gave me the most painless car buying experience I have ever had. I am pretty sure I won't buy anywhere else in the future. I will shop other places but Acton will most likely be where I purchase.

Just purchased a new 2012 Access Cab 2.7 liter, 4X2, AT, SR5 in Georgia. MSRP was $23,789. Quoted internet price was $22,513 plus $399 Admin fee and tag and title fees plus sales tax.

Everything went well at the dealership until they tried to add $650 for paint sealant. I just showed the finance guy my internet quote and he took the $650 off.

Overall I had a great buying experience and I love my new Taco. I could have got the same price without the Admin fee at another dealer but that dealer did not have the color that I wanted and I did not want to wait.
