We're in the same boat. Parts of my family last forever. Others, not so much.

    Sorry about your wish tho.

Is it normal that coming home from work I pass a scene and automatically check dangers MOI and number of patients?? I got there around same time FD pulled up in an engine Chief was already on scene and ambulance so I didn't stop, but if someone didn't lock their keys n their car and I would of been out on time I would have been first on scene. I can't wait to start my medic course.

    Very quickly.

On a side note, I had a very interesting GSW to the head this week. She shot herself in the garage the night before, the gun was in the back bedroom and she was talking to us on the couch. Right temple with a .38

    It was interesting

^This. If there's people calmly on their cell phones I generally cuss loudly in my truck at how these ass hats are holding everyone up. In fact I want to put a Whelan system in my truck so I can have a PA and the electronic Airhorn.

Well, I'm hating my job right now. Off to sit in Boston/Red Sox/Cape Cop vacation traffic for a bullshit IFT. Most likely will get out late again. FML.

so my tonsils have been swollen as all hell for two weeks and have been giving me problems for the past two years. I wake up coughing and choking and when I gargle with salt water blood is coming out of my tonsils.

What will happen if i stick a scalpel in my mouth and simply slice open my tonsils?

Worked with a gal that had been run over by a boat. She lost a good chunk of her calf. Made the news at the time it happened too.

Too bad I don't have the X-rays from one I picked up snowboarding, a piece of one lumbar vertabrae broke off and inserted into the vertabrae above it. The MD we have on patrol brought it in to show us during ne of our meetings.
