    I wanted to do the install locally when I finally save up but you simply can not beat the 5 year warranty on the 3rd/locker ECGS gives you.

    Also doesn't help my local shop just forgot to put thread lock on a buddys rear and it grenaded :(

    ill tell you honestly... and im not really defending them.. it depends on the store you go to... they have installed my locker and new gears and few other things and thank god i havent really run into damage... depending if it was me lol... it also a good idea to go in with some kind of idea of what you want... exactly how you want it too...

    X2... I think 4wp has a hard job to do (working on all kinds of trucks) and because they are so big and service so many trucks you hear a good deal of issues. I still would not buy from them or let them touch my truck but thats because I don't have one locally I could feel out.

    Everyone flames Firestone, but my local shop has aligned my truck perfectly at least 5 times. I just make sure the same guy does the work and it helps he also has the same truck as me. I also interviewed the manager and the guy doing the work before hand and went over everything I needed done.

    Even the best shops have issues because everyone makes mistakes. It's how the shop handles the mistakes that makes them great or poor....well and the frequency of screw ups :D

    which one is closer to you... the only one i go to is Van Nuys.... they have been really cool... hell they are the ones who told me "it depends on the shop you go to" and they are talking about there own stores!!! haha....

    haha.... im not gonna lie i have heard bad stories about them and the compton store is ok.... Check out the Van nuys one... that is if you still want to deal with them lol

    Lucky Californians.... I would love to have a shop within 60 miles. We only have Jeep shops near here. Nothing for Toyotas.

    That said who wants to invest some money into a NE shop? Could make a ton of money selling/installing bull bars and 20" rimz yo!
