More. Call them for a quote. I have no idea how much mine was; I ordered it with several other things, told Kevin to build them right, then let me know the total.

Re: AP's previous hybrid costs: Metal prices do not stay the same. In fact, inflation has eaten a LOT of lunch in the past 4 years especially, which is why everything is more expensive now. $600 then may have been profitable. It may not be now.

In addition to that, I have my doubts about the construction quality of AP's previous hybrid. If their recently redesigned sliders, skids, and one-piece bumper are any indication, they've learned from past mistakes and are trending toward building much better products. Perhaps part of the desire not to bring back the old design is that it's not up to snuff for the new expectations?

Edit: And again, this is my point. Everyone wants to play, but no one wants to pay. If you have a pricepoint, you're going to get a product built to that pricepoint. If your pricepoint is "do it right", you're going to pay a lot of money. But you will have a top quality product at the end of the process.

How do you not know how much you paid for your bumper?

Then they can re design the hybrid! I'll pay for something if it's exactly what I want! ATO make great products no doubt but I'm not in love with any of their stuff like I am this bumper! I'll pay to play if it's exactly what I want!! I won't settle for paying 1000 + dollars for something I half ass like...I settled once and won't again!

    Did I not explain that?

Anyway, there's options out there. ATO makes a hybrid. A lot of people have been speaking highly of Brute Force Fab's hybrid lately, though the look of it is not my taste.

You can always have a fabricator design a custom one for you, although be prepared to pay well more than the cost of the ATO for that, as you'll be paying by the hour for design and labor in addition to materials.

I think what people are trying to say is "give us an inexpensive hybrid bumper" and what companies are saying is "we can't do that and make it good." I'm really not sure why everyone thinks there's a conspiracy.

 I got burned the same way a long time ago. If you're gonna buy big, demand big. Good policy.

You sound like you need a fabricator to build your design or work with you on designing exactly what you want. No harm in that. I'm right there with you on being picky.

Brute Force's new bumper is one of the best looking on the market IMHO, every truck I see that has it looks bad ass!

All of the prices for ATO's products are in the link in your signature except for the front bumpers and sliders, subtract out the pricing of whatever skids you got and you will have a general idea of what you paid for the rest of the stuff.

I never bothered and the invoice is long gone. I'm pretty sure it was north of $1k somewhere with all the features I had put on it. I also requested a few custom items, though I'm not sure how much that may have affected the price.

Don't get me wrong, that bumper is badass but I can't justify spending $1k + on a bumper.

It's very easy to do once you load up the options. Sure, base bumpers from most guys are 600 or 700 dollars, but once you add:

You can break 1k in a hurry before you even start talking about shipping.

It's just like vehicles. You can buy a Tacoma for 21000 or 34000. What do you want it to have on it?

If they made this Hybrid bumper again I would buy it right now. It's exactly what I want in a bumper. I knew I should have bought it when it was still in production. I hope they might reconsider building it again so we can get a group buy going. I'm sure they would sell a ton of these...
