Now that I have a truck capable of towing a decent load (no offense to my 22RE '94), I'm in the market for a two bike motorcycle trailer. Anyone have one?

I like this one because it folds up for easy storage....

    http://www.discount-trailers.com/kendon-dual-trailers.htm

Would rather not spend $2200 though, for that price I can buy a full size trailer. Haven't looked locally yet, just wanted to get some advice from you guys if anyone's using one.

They are handy if you are limited on space and have to store it in a garage because of HOA rules or you don't have a back yard or whatever.
If you've got the space, I like an enclosed trailer personally...you'll spend a lil more to get it...but it gives you a place to keep extra tools, extra storage when not trailering, etc etc.

All depends on your needs tho.

Enclosed trailer would be nice if I could find a good used one for a reasonable price.

Tried craigslist?? I've seen them pop up around down here now and again. Search for motorcycle forums in your area too. They usually have a Buy/Sell/Trade section like we do here.

    Good luck!!

That is pretty good man. Depending on the bikes you could prolly fit two in there...

Yeah, I defintely want to be able to haul two bikes, my wife rides too, might be a bit tight at 5x8. We have a couple of naked bikes, Honda 919 and 599, think they'd fit ok. I also have a full dress touring bike, Yamaha FJR1300, it probably would take up all the space by itself.

I want something that we can haul bikes to events in, also have a couple of vintage bikes that I'd like to trailer over to Mid-Ohio for the meets there.

Activator III brake controller, Extang Fulltilt toneau, Factory bed mat, Extra D-rings in the bed, 2ndary air filter removed, Garmin Ique GPS, Eco-2, AFE Pro Dry-s filter, USASPEC PA12-toy, Pioneer 3-way speakers, SG II on Blendmount, Gulf States Alarm added.
The naked bikes would fit in the 5x8 but you would have to stagger and reverse one of them.

I have a 6x12, and with my 93 cb750 nighthawk, and my father's Ultra Classic, it is really tight.

But my advice would be to look for atleast a 6x10.

    Regards,

Thanks, after doing some research and talking it over with my motorcycle buddies, it sounds like 6x10 is exactly what I need. If anybody within a reasonable distance of Indy has one for sale I'm definitely interested.

Gotta have something to haul the two wheel fleet around in...

That's a 1969 BSA Thunderbolt 650, admittedly the roughest one in my collection. It's a "someday" project, the '73 Honda 350-Four comes first, but definitely a cool old bike.

I'm still thinking enclosed trailer, in no particular hurry so I'm just watching craigslist and local ads until I find the right deal.

You could go all out and get a toy Hauler. We have had our eye on the KZ MXT20 Perfect fit for the Tacoma. Nice inside and a place to put your toys.

Wow, just looked those up... http://www.kz-rv.com/mxt/index.html

Pretty awesome but a bit more than what I need. At least until I sell my company and hit the road with my motorcycles, then I'd have a place to live!

Yeah man keep you Eye On craigs list. and don't jump at the first deal you see. I got my hands on a 6x12 enclosed Haulmark trailer with torsion axles and brakes, Side door and reamp rear door with a pretty expensive motorcycle chalk already installed for 2,000.00 just a few weeks ago. I got such a good deal on it that I plan on installing a generator on the tongue and a roof mount airconditioner on it so I can drive anywhere I want and camp in the back:D.

That's pretty much what I'm looking for, maybe 6x10 with rear ramp door and side door, fairly new.

Listen to Adam. I have a 6X12 and I have gotten the Ultra and the FX in the trailer both facing forward but had inches to spare. I did stop and check straps often that one trip!!! I usually trailer only the dresser with camping equipment and it still fills up pretty quick. A 6X10 would be the very minimum to consider for two bikes. IMO. Also with a single axle like mine, loading for proper tongue weight becomes an issue.

Can't help with the trailer, but I must say, that's a sweet little 350 you've got there. Looks to be in pretty good condition. Here's my 73' 750:
