don't forget your decimal places people... someone named fightnfire added a tank two weeks ago and typed over 17 thousand gallons for the fill, setting his 60+ tank avg at 1.1 mpg and likely bombing out the avg mileage for the 2009 model year in general.

This is for those who have larger than factory wheel/tire combos:
When entering your numbers for calculation on Fuelly, wouldn't it be precise to figure the percent difference of what your wheel diameters are now compared to what the odometer is calibrated for? I'm only mentioning it because nobody else has yet, at least not what I've seen...but then I don't read every entry in the threads either

That is correct. The diameter on my 285/75R16 tire is 7% larger than stock. So I add in 7% to the distance travelled as measured by my odometer (odo reading * 1.07). The tire size calculator (mods & tutorials pull down) will tell you how much a particular tire size will affect your odometer.

I started using it the day I bought my truck. I was using My Mile Marker the whole time I owned my TDi Jetta.

I'm pretty sure they don't but i'm not pos, because there is always that issue that changing tire sizes will help make the speedo more accurate.
