so how would it be any different for anyone to get a certain chef to come in and prepare food for their party? ppl do it all the time...BFD

is it also justifiable for the military to spend all their excess money at the end of the fiscal year so that they can continue to get the same amount or more the next year that they may not spend? when i was active, currently a contractor, and also national guard, i've seen hundreds of thousands spent by a single squadron at the end of the year of stupid shit just to get the money again the next year and when the end of that year comes they are doing the same thing again

 

so did mccain and his ancient ass got less out of it than obama did. when a squadron blows money on upgrading from 19" to 22" flat panels on their 400 PC's, 40" LCD's for each section to "give briefs on", and $50,000 to redo a VTC room, there are way better places that money could have been spent

 

i'm not trying to fight, just trying to prove that WAY more money gets blown every year on frivolous stuff than other people care to admit....especially by our "never do wrong" military. i've been a part of it for almost 8 years now and its happened every year

 

true....bush was in crawford almost every other weekend for vacations.

 

like stated above by 28003, if the people before him did it, shouldne he be able to....or vise versa, if bush practiced it, i would hold it against obama if he didnt....but no one in that position does.
