MAINT REQ light was on.. now off

    I don't recall this happening before, but my MAINT REQ light was blinking the other day and now its off on its own. Is that normal? I'm not at 5k miles yet.

    4500 miles or somewhere close to 5k, it will flash when you first start the truck.

    This is a "warning" that you are approaching 5k and need to plan for service.
    At 5k, the light will come on solid.

    I tend to miss seeing the "warning" because my TPMS light flashes for the first 2 blocks.

    No, I haven't been to the dealer.

    The lights blinked for a couple of days, but it hasn't since Saturday. Thought it was strange.
