these are the numbers that my truck just came out too with new LR UCA'S. The guy struggled when he put them in so I am worried it is not correct

    Left Right
    Camber: -.03 0.2
    Caster: 2.0 2.3
    Toe: .01 .01

With new UCA's, you should have a little more Caster, and the Camber should be closer. One side is -.o3 and the other is +.2??

Face SPC logos directly out and slide ball joints either all the way out or nearly all the way out. They should be able to get camber to nearly zero on both sides and bump the caster higher.

the spc logos are facing out, and the ball joints are almost all the way out towards the wheel. the guy was doing lots and lots of adjusting on the LCA's is this normal?

All adjustments but for toe are done on the LCAs. I'd try a different shop if you're not happy with those numbers.

    Toku and Chris,

I recently installed a lift on my 2012 and was wondering if you could give me some number to look out for when I get it aligned. I want to make sure I get the alignment done right the first time.

I installed billy 5100 in the front set @ 0 with ome 885, LR UCA, and sway bar relocation. The rear has 5125 and icon 3 leaf progressive w/overload leaf installed. For tires, I am running 285/70r17 firestone destination m/t. If you need more information please let me know! Thanks

Ever since i installed a set of Fox coilovers and Total Chaos UCAs on my 07 prerunner no one i take it to can align it. They have all given me different reasons why : Inner tie rods are maxed out and have no thread left to bring in but truck is still toed out and needs shorter tie rods or more thread, Front passenger LCA brackets are bent, Maybe i need more kit other than UCAs and Coilovers? I dont know whats going on but it drove fine before i put the lift on, so whats the deal any insight or solutions or anything is greatly appreciated i need help i dont know how to fix it or who to take it to?

Toe 0, Camber 0 or VERY close.

Set your LR UCA BJs at +2 (SPC facing directly out) and then all the way out in the slots, before your alignment. Chances are high they will not touch your UCAs period.

Caster should be within spec, which they should show on the post alignment print out you should receive.

Take pictures of the tie rods ends and your LCA mounts and post here.

They won't align it or the numbers are shit?

I have almost the same setup. Although not perfectly happy with it yet, here are my numbers below.

    L R
    .6 Toe .4
    .7 Camber .3
    1.4 Caster 2.1

    Those numbers are okay.

Camber isn't bad but should be able to get closer to 0, IMO. This is why you have those SPC LR UCAs. Did you set them to +2 (SPC out) and the ball joint all the way out in the slot?

Toe needs to be closer to 0 as well. Though it's in degrees (which is annoying) you can reasonably assume that .4 and .6 are close to 1/8 - 3/16

Caster should be relatively even, but you're only 1/2* off so no harm there, could have been done to counter road crown but now-a-days most set caster even on both sides.

I am going to try getting more caster this week. I am rubbing some on the cab mount which can be improved.

i installed a toytec lift on my truck today. Adjustable bilstein struts that came pre assembled with toytec spring and upper assembly. I plan on getting an alignment as soon as i get my new wheels and tires on. Would it be a bad idea to run the lift without new UCA's??????

    depends how high you went,
any higher than 1.75 up front and I think you want them.
I put mine on as soon as the lift went on at 2.5 lift and I love the handling for a lifted truck. Almost shat myself when I drove it to the alignment shop it was all over the place. Got my numbers looking good.

That would depend on how much lift you set on the adjustable struts.

It's probably more dangerous to drive before getting an alignment. I was skidding around everywhere on turns for a day until the alignment. Lots of people run lifts without UCAs with varying results but generally positive. Again, the amount of lift is the biggest factor. 2" - likely no problemo without UCAs. 3" - recommended.

so i've read through this thread and some of the information is still not clear. i have a '12 dclb with 265/70/17 tires. the truck hasnt been aligned since it drove off the lot. since installing the new tires, the truck seems to have a sort of disconnected feel at higher speeds and wanders all over the lane. the truck has also noticeably become harder to turn at lower speeds which im not sure is purely the fault of the tire size change (tires are michelin ltxms2). Since the truck is at stock height are 0* toe and o* camber optimal numbers? since i am aiming for a lighter feel in the steering wheel, what should i aim for as far as caster goes?
    thanks

Do I need UCA'S if I just did the Bilstein 5100 adjustable schocks at top level which is 2.5"?
