i believe the flash pattern is set for 1&3 and 2&4 to fire at the same time. so if you want them to alternate put 1&3 on one side and 2&4 on the other.

So I was just looking up hand throttles and check this shit out.

Here is the context with it:
"Since the accellerator pedal is very MPG sensitive at low throttle settings and very difficult to accurately adjust with slight changes in foot pressure, I made a hand throttle out of some scrap materials laying around the place. I set it so it functions that same way as the hand throttle on my tractor, i.e. the hand throttle sets a lower throttle position that can be overidden by pressing on the accellerator. The hand throttle only adjusts over the first 1/3 of the accellerator pedal's travel and converts 1 inch of pedal movement into 4 inches of lever movement, making it very easy to adjust to an exact L/km value when cruising on flat roads. Its just a simple pushrod that presses down on a metal plate attached to the pedal."

I wouldn't either. Not on the taco, maybe I should do it on the hyundai though If I understand that right, no more lead foot since that device won't let the throttle exceed 1/3 of it's travel. haha plus it would be a cheap cruise control, although not very safe. haha I'm not positive but I think my little Hyundai requires more throttle than that to maintain 75mph, 3700+rpm FTW!

You're lucky you have a cable throttle. I can't find shit on a hand throttle for a 2nd gen. I found a small handful of hand throttle kits for throttle by wire but they are only for GM, Ford, and Chrysler vehicles and appeared to be model specific plug and play kits, so probably not very adaptable to the Taco.

 

WINCHING!!! plus he can also use it to smooth out his offroading over obstacles since he has a manual. No more 2 feet trying to run 3 pedals, it will be 2 feet to 2 pedals.

as far as winching goes...it just seems redundant, and not worth it. I can't believe it make that big of a deal over just pushing down the gas pedal. is it really that hard?
