I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Kinda looks like it could tuck more :notsure: I know John was thinking of making something to hold the tire in the bed while wheeling.

Pictures from yesterday before my first camera died (still dialing the camera settings in, because we were on our 2nd dive. So yes, I know the pictures are shitty)

I found a Yakima basket on Craigslist for cheap . Now I just have to build the frame . Hopefully it comes out that nice .plus I need some weight in the bed to smooth out the ride alittle bit .

Are you building yours out of bent tube steel like the one you pictured or will yours sit lower and just be a rack that goes straight across the bed?

It won't be as pictured . I don't have a tube bender or access to one. I'm either going with a straight across or square tube cut and welded to look like the picture above . I haven't decided yet . I'd like to keep it up higher so I can still load up the bed with other supplies for the trip to pa .

You could prob buy the tube already bent from central mass off-road. He is a NTC member and welded Denis' sliders on.

Ya I could but there's no fun in buying it. I'd rather build it.

You'd have to use smaller tube though but maybe more of them and gusset them for strength if you really want the round tube look. They also have a hydraulic bender but it's $100.
