So im a little nervous to pull another truck on a car trailer with the 4.0

    Has anybody pulled a car trailer with their 4.0 ?? lets say with a small yota on the trailer for a long distance ?

    ive pulled another vehicle on a car trailer along with a 12x10 barn 13 high on a trailer. long as the trailer is in good shape take your time plan your stops and you will be good. i have the 3.4 1st gen

    all of yall have the auto or 6 speed i have the stick and thats what im nervous about will i burn my clutch to hell ???

    I have a 2.7l 5 speed. I havent towed any cars but I have towed some heavy shit. As long as you take it easy and dont ride your clutch or push the engine more then you should, then you will do fine. Just dont try to haul ass going uphill or anything.

    I believe eric (relentlesstaco) hauled a backhoe numerous times and I think he had a 6 spd. No problems.

    Ok so what type of hitch should i use on all this ??? some people are telling me a weight distributing hitch then others are like a regular hitch is fine but distributing hitches are expensive

    Having the Tow package always helped, Ive pulled quite a few things up to around 5000 pounds so you should be good towing a small car.
