Really confused by the extended shock mount friction thing? But about motion ratio shocks seem to work best at the 1:1.7 area. 1:1 is really hard to tune and get right because the shock speed is so fast.

Ok, Ya the friction thing confused me as well, tells you what guys at 4 Wheel Parts know.

1:1.7 would be around 35* off the axle?

No no no ha you never want to lean the shock that far. You will have crazy changes in valving efficiency, you either need links or cantilever to achieve that ratio.

I have a little bit of bed space one mine but it SUCKS not being able to carry anything in my truck. I have to bribe the AZ guys to help me pick up stuff that doesn't fit in a 3' x 2' space. or Barrow my father's FJ and pick up our enclosed trailer from storage.
