'85 pickup with a 22re, straight axle, 38.5" boggers, 5.29 gears, hi-steer, and locked front and rear.

However...have to install the drivelines and redo the front brake lines and a fuel line, weld in front shock towers, put in the radiator and redo the flatbed.

I could buy/build a straight axle and torch the IFS or buy another truck for less than what that would cost. Now I have a dedicated wheeler.

    $2k...

Its a project, but the value of the tires alone is enough insurance for me. Plus the sheet metal is straight and the interior is pretty good. Needs a new paint job, but that's nbd.

Screw paint for a crawler. Just rattle can it or raptor line it.

    Okay I did this today.

Installed E brake cable, front floor mats and tranny mat, wiring harness, heater core, AC, fan, CC, throttle cable, all three pedals, and did 80% of the wiring...long night. Not bad for 4 hours tho.

Jesus, dood. I don't think I've ever seen anybody work so hard and fast on a truck. Hats off to you, sir.

But be careful with all this haste...double-check that everything is complete and tight...
