I am honoring the deal until next Friday at which point I am going to go a different route. I must say Scott over at TruckAddOns.com has been one hell of a trooper and WILL get any further accessory orders I make even if this NFab snafu falls flat.

K&N has a light bar that does fit a 2012. I can mount 2 lights. Randy Ellis has the same thing but can mount up to 4 lights. I have the K&N on my 2012. I added a third light with a K&N light tab.

I do believe that that is from KC Hilites, not K&N.

    http://www.kchilites.com/store/products/05%2d12-Toyota-Tacoma-Light-Bar-Black-2-Tab-KC-#74521.html

As I too, have been waiting since April for the infamous n-Fab bar to appear on my doorstep. Maybe n-Fab needs to step up to the plate, or start sending out refunds ASAP, or overnight ship at their expense since they have had our money for more than 8 weeks.

The more I look at Pelley's bar (the taller one) the more I want it, and to support a local forum member who seems to have his "stuff" together, unlike the above mentioned fabrication company.:annoyed:

    Just my $.02

I am in no way trying to start a revolt here but if products are promised and can not be delivered in a timely manner then it is the responsibility of the company to step up and refund. On another note, IF you purchased these items with a credit card or paypal then they will step in for you.

I give every vendor a fair time frame but when you promise me a product it should fall within YOUR supplied timelines.

... and yes, Pelley's is gaining ground very quickly not to mention his quality is unmatched.

I, unlike our good "occifer", I am looking to "start a revolt". n-Fab is long over due with their delivery of a product that they advertised as "in stock".

From what I have gained here on the forum, there has been only one member (sorry for the lack of user name) that has received his light bar, and it arrived with the light tabs welded on the front side of the bar, thus allowing the exposure of the fasteners, wiring, etc., to the naked eye and elements.

I will personally support any manufacturer who delivers upon their promise to ship me the item that I have ordered and paid for. However, in this particular instance, the manufacturer, n-Fab, has done quite the opposite. They have not delivered the product as advertised; they have taken our hard earned dollars; and the product that they finally deliver to the only "known" rceipient, is not as advertised and has major design and manufacturing flaws.

With this in mind, and also with the lack of suport from major manufacturers (i.e. Schosche, Metra, etc.) that have promised, and not delivered upon a product designed and tested for the 2012 model year Tacoma this late in the model year, I say "guess it's time to find another market for your goods." As I for one, will have nothing to due with empty and false promises, let alone a manufacturer who wilingly accepts my money for said product and does not deliver, let alone not investing it in the production of the promised product.

I guess I've said my peace here, and shame on n-Fab, and trust me, they will no longer recieve any of my business, and dang sure my recommendation to others.

Pelley, get ready for an incoming IM.

That's right it is from KC hiLights. I don't know why I said K&N. You can get a good price from StreetSide Auto. I tried another light bar and they did not fit the 2012. The KC Hilights does fit with no drilling. Or Randy Ellis Designs but they cost more.

Thanks to those who mentioned interest in my light bars, and those who have PM'd me. Just to give a little more info my price should be $150 plus shipping. It might change a little bit once I get the final cost figured out, but I think I am already where I need to be.

I am picking up all the required laser cut parts on Monday. I am making a batch of 10, with more to come once I sell a few of these. It should take me about a week after that to build them all, and drop them off and picked up from powder coating. I should have them ready to ship between the 23rd and 27th as long as my laser cutter and powder coater don't drag, I know I won't!!

I know some other companies have been screwing around with you guys, my three big things are quality, customer service, and reputation. I make what I think is a great part, and I do my best to make your experience as easy as possible, and I depend on my reputation to get more sales, so I don't mess around.

Below are a couple pictures of what I have in the works. They first set of pictures is the low height, 2nd is the medium height, and the third is a new one I am working on that is a different style of light bar that is a little more flashy. The third one I don't have a completion date or price for yet, but wanna throw it out there for you guys to check out. If a few people jump on it I will expedite getting those ready for sale as well. Thanks for checking me out and for the chance to sell you guys some top notch stuff.

Oh ya, more pictures to come of these on an actual truck as soon as I can get my hands on a whole one, haha. Probably Monday.

Also, please keep in mind these are moch up parts, final parts sold are high quality fit, finish and looks.

This light bar looks great, best one i have seen so far, attention to detail and build quality really stand out. I'm glad i waited on pulling the trigger on the n-fab bar, this looks like a much better product.

I just emailed N-Fab requesting a refund. I have waited 12 weeks now, I think... Haven't gone that far back in my email to verify when exactly I placed the order.

    Pelley,
I hope to be placing an order for one of your bars soon! Thank you for keeping us informed of your progress.

I am now wishing that I would have just waited for your design in the first place, could have left my money in the bank gaining interest if nothing else...

Thanks for the compliments. Replied to your PM

Whenever your ready, whichever way it works out. It sucks you guys have been put through this. I know I can be an impatient customer some times, so I really do commend you guys on your patients with whoever you are dealing with!

Thanks for the support, and let me know. I said this to a few others, if you get your product from them I am happy for you, but I am also happy if you buy one from me, haha!! Let me know when you are ready, I still have 6 available from the initial batch of 10 I am making. Looks like I may need to make more!!!

Love these - my only issue from what I can see is that all the styles will block the front license plate and in NJ if you block the plate you are asking to get pulled over......

The older ones take the LP into account - will the new ones? (HOPE HOPE HOPE)

PhantomVirus, great point. For those that require a front plate, I will add tabs on the mid height light bars I offer so you can be legal. They would have too low on the lower height ones... Just let me know if you want them and I will add for no extra charge

Just thought you guys might want to see what the finished plate will look like. The first picture is of the lower and mid (the part with the D on it flips, so does the logo for the mid style). The second picture is the under bumper version for those of you that have aftermarket grills but want a bolt on light bar. These will come soon after I get the low/mid height ones done. Hope you enjoy!

Looking good, as for the front license plate it looks to me like only the low and Alt style would really block it. With the mid it looks like the majority of the plate would hang below it? If it doesn't though its good to see that you can add tabs on it, i to am in a state where they are strict about front plates.
