I think you need one more job, lol.

I'm a halfass DJ that's rooted in funk/ass shaking music.

I'd love to hear, or learn more about, that jazz funk album.

:woot: Hopefully I can make a run into Anchorage and get my dye and paint. And some fabric cleaner for the bucket seats. I was stoked last night when I realized the seats also have the vertical hight adjustment :D

Yessir. Unbolted the driver side seat last night and put the new bucket in there.... Soooooooooooo much better. After they get washed the new seats are goin in and I'll just go console-less for a bit till I can paint it.

Trying to replace my cv boots. Damn things look like they are pressed on, no snap ring to easily remove the star.

finally got my sway bar removed. After like 4 failed attempts to remove the end link nuts (and a resulting CLUNK that was driving me NUTS!) I decided to just cut the bitch out.. lots of sparks and a bit of sweat later.. success!

By star do you mean the tulip that has the bearings on it?

If so take a brass drift and hit the tulip down, it will expose a c-clip that you can take off then brass drift the tulip off and there will be one more on the underside that keeps the tulip from sliding all the way down. Remove that one as well (this is the one thats a pain for me since I think I need better c-clip plyers)

The top c-clip is a thin one that should be pretty hassle free.

Dont forget to put the c-clips back in when your done :D Looks like your in PHX too let me know if you need any help I've done a number of these :D

Thanks. I had a cheap pair of c-clip pliers too. Couldn't get the bottom clip off to slide the tripod bearing down to expose the top c-clip. I called the guys at Phoenix Axle and they tried to walk me through it (damn c-clip pliers).

So I threw them in a backpack and rode my buddy's bike down to them, $30 and 10 minutes later and they were good as new.

Time to get a good pair of c-clip pliers.

Anyone want to guess what the stealership wants for new CV Axles on a 98? I only called for shit n'giggles.
