You get called out and your response is to un-subscribe? That sure says a lot.

ya. seriously. does he seriously think that you can just have a date and its going to always be there. he must have never been late to work either. EVER. thats why big companys have project planners and production forecasters. Im sure vin is doing his best. and in the manufacturing world, you cant predict every set back and delay.

    Good Shit Vin.

I'm planning to wait it out for some of the cleanest wheels around! I just want to confirm that the Stealth 6 will clear a stock suspension/brake setup (TRD SPORT)? I'm planning to run 265/70/17's on them as well. Offset looks a little different that what my research has told me will fit, but just want to confirm first!

    • Size: 17 X 8.5
    • Weight: 23lbs
    • Bolt Pattern: 6 x 5.5
    • Offset: -10mm
    • Backspacing: 4.30"
    • Hubcentric: Yes
    • Finish: Matte Gray/Black
    • Max Load: 2100lbs
You shouldn't have ANY PROBLEM running a wider tire! With a 4.30" Backspacing and a -10mm Offset you're golden!!

Yo Vin! I sent your Koozies out this afternoon! So expect them soon! I love the GB price!! How close to that are we looking at on the F-6 price? If so i'll definitely be buying that 5th wheel in the same purchase!

I'm not really looking for a wider tire since I'd like to stick with the stock suspension. I'll be lifting it eventually, but only an inch or two. 17x8.5"... is that going to look lame with a 265 tire? I know there's threads upon threads about this, but I'm not sure with that particular offset and backspacing with stock suspension and no TSB.

edit- I'm going with General Grabber AT2, so they should be good to go on an 8.5" rim.

For reference.. a factory TRD Sport comes with 265/65/R17..

Here is 265/70/17 with factory suspension

    Here is 265/70/17 With a 2inch lift

So to me it will look fine! Just may stick out just a little more then these...

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I just got my 265/70/17's installed and looks great w/o the lift. Lift goes on in less than a week also. I plan on getting the 6's sometime in the next 6 months though too.

Saweeet! Thanks for the help guys. I've had this truck for less than a week and am trying to soak up as much info as possible. I have a tall canopy on it and still want to fit in the garage, so I'm sticking with stock suspension for now. I love the look of the 70r sidewall with stock suspension anyway, so that works for now. I'm sure I'll join the 285 club down the road when I start getting more adventurous with suspension configurations, but for now, I just want a clean set of beefy wheels and tires for some mountain driving. Thanks!

The Stealth-6 will clear your TRD Sport calipers just fine. At stock height, a 265/70/17 is the perfect tires size choice to go with. You'll get a little more aggressive looking stance compared to the stock wheels which I think you will like.

Kyle, the Stealth-6 GB will offer about the same amount of discount. Thanks for the koozies! I look forward to putting them to use.

    Sounds like a solid plan:D.

It is clear that the Stealth 6 will protrude further than the Sport 17" wheel. What I would like to know is exactly how much? Anyone know?

Not yet, I have 4 sample wheels and they're all different colors:eek:. Within the next couple of weeks, they will come along. However by then, the GB will be over.
