It holds 400 to 600 Mexican Free Tail Bats. I Have counted upto 450 adult bats and seen/rescued many babies on the ground. My problem is bats have a GPS and if I move it they will either die or suffer. I have been there for almost 8 years . WHAT NOW!?

Well maybe putting an ad in Bat Fancier isn't such a bad idea.

Honestly, it sounds like quite an uphill battle. It is going to scare the ignorant away, but there will be a narrow group of people who do think it is super cool. Goths.

You could generate some literature/FAQ takeaway materials for prospective buyers, and if you are using an agent, educate the agent about it?

Talk up the benefits: pest control, great wildlife and learning experience, especially for kids, and whatever else.

People who are walking in to check out multiple home listings and who are suprised by this will probably just walk away, but if you actually use it to help market the house, you might actually attract those niche buyers.

People don't realize just how good it is to have bats around. The right buyer will come along. Heck, I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I was in the market.

I didn't know such a thing existed. Pretty cool. Must be great for bug control. My wife and I are considering an Owl house.

As another poster mentioned, I would talk up the benefits about having bats around. They eat bugs! No, they won't suck your blood! If they are very low maintenance, throw that in there. I've thought about putting a bat house on my property before.

How big is this bat house and is it obnoxious looking? Pics!

The woman who moved in next door, you can see her roof in the pic, asked my other neighbor, what is that thing,a guillotine?? HAHA, I have explained it all to her and sh is cool with it, actually my neighbors on the street ask me about it and how "MY" bats are doing.

For a vid, look up mermanbob on youtube or bats in the AM and you can see the 3 or 4 poorly made vids I posted a long time ago
