Chrome everything

 

Ha ha.
I have always wondered why I see the SR5 without fender flares. Seems like you would want flares with a wider tire.

 

The 95-97 SR5 comes with chrome "trim" not really a flare though.
I think some of the limiteds had leather seats too. not sure

 

The e-locker was an orderable add-on option for the SR5 package before the TRD package became available. '97s and early '98s could get the factory installed e-locker and not be a "TRD". In fact, the TRD package didn't start until after the '98s came out.

I know this because I had a '98 (build date 9/1997) and it had the e-locker. A couple of months later, the TRD package became available.

 

Don't ever get rid of those manual hubs...unless you want to trade me hana

 

I need longer rear bumps, My shocks bottom out before bumps are even in contact now.

Any suggestions?

 

Not sure about that one, you should be able to scoop up a clean sway bar from a member on here if you post a wanted ad.

Perhaps you should consider air bumps as the next upgrade. Also, might want to ask in the LT section.

I'd kill for 20...I get 16 mixed driving in the summer...19-20 on the highway. No lift and slightly larger tires.

 

Good to know. I guess my tires are pretty heavy being load E as well...But anyway, I don't really care about MPG that much. It's still a truck at the end of the day.

 

did you wax the glass after you polished them??

 

I have hybrid seats: 50% tacoma, 50% 3000GT

 

They're plastic and no I did not.

I just liberally sprayed that sealer on them, and lightly wiped them down to give it a uniform coat. Then let dry.

Not extremely, I just drilled holes in the new seat frame and bolted them in using the existing tacoma bolt holes. All told took me ~3 hours probably including removing/installing the seats
