    Hi TW,

Long time lurker here. I figured I would finally make an account and start posting.

I purchased a 2004 Xcab back in February, and have been loving it ever since. The thing only had 72k kms on it when I bought it, I couldn't believe it. The only thing I didn't like was the colour (would have preferred black or red), but you can't always get everything you want.

So far, I haven't done too much to it. Popped a new air filter in, switched over to Synthetic, and bought her some DuraTracs. I also replaced the brake pads with some nice Hawks.

My future plans for this are in the range of 3" lift, new steel pipe running boards, as well as front and rear bumper (This is probably a couple years down the road). I'm also looking into getting a spray in bed liner sometime this summer (probably Line-X)

I've only been able 4x4 a couple times with it so far, but it's preformed great.

Not really sure what else to say, other than thanks for listening to me ramble on. I'll leave you with a pic of my truck.

Beautiful truck, and nothing wrong with it as is. I still want to own an 04 access cab someday, first gen is the only one I haven't owned, only driven friends.

You have a gem, take care of it and it will last forever

Haha, I have a lot of plans and ideas for this truck. It constantly takes all my willpower to be patient and take it slow. Otherwise all my money would be gone already!

Look forward to it. The last time it went out, it was running on some pretty beat up tires. It didn't have a problem that time, so I'm jazzed about going out now.

Auto. Looked at a bunch of both, but this one was the best condition, and had pretty much everything on my wishlist (even came with a shell, have that stored away for the time being)

    Will do, thanks!

Welcome Beja! does Canada only use Kilometer's up there? how many miles is that? i had bought my '03 back in dec. '10 with less than 44k miles. that's part of the reason why i bought it. that and the stepside bed. was looking for a 4x4, and preferably red and trd. but oh well. but i'm still happy with it. like another member posted on here, " ' money buys a tacoma and a have you ever seen a sad person in a tacoma' " or something like that was his response to the saying " ' Money can't buy happiness' " anyways glad we TW'ers have another member :)

oh and congrats on ur purchase

Would have been just under 45k miles when I bought it. That was the major reason on the buy. Would have like Red as my 1st choice, but you can't always get everything you're looking for.

    Oh, and thanks!
