Just ordered a 6.5 inch micro sub, it should fit in the storage compartment thats the reason i got the 6.5 instead of the 8. I can't wait to plug it in and see what it can do. I had to tell someone I bought one:D

I have a 09 Access Cab, It would be interesting if you could figure out a way to turn the rear center storage console into a speakerbox. Not sure how good that would sound though, lol. I bet the 6.5 would fit, but your not going to get the "boom" of a 10

The box is from supercrewsound.com. My 09 has a center console in the rear so I had to do some minor cutting with the dremel. I was able to fit an 8 " JL subwoofer and it sounds pretty good

Those 6.5's sound good for what they are. I just got one for my dad for father's day and am installing it this weekend into his Boxster S but for shit's and giggles I hooked it up to my amp, which at a 4 ohm load put some 300w rms to it, and it sounded good. I've built a nice sealed box for him and tomorrow night will install everything while he's asleep. He doesn't like big boomy bass but I had to get something to handle the low notes and this will do it just not put out a lot of pressure level's.

As requested my little JL audio micro sub its the 6.5 inch version. I bought this one because it would fit under the support bar that runs across the rear of the back panel. I installed it with out great expectations that it would produce huge bass, I just wanted it to bring a full range of the music I listen to with is rock. I really wanted to hear the drums and bass. Well after install this little thing sounds great with some rap songs it will fill up the cab with bass pretty good. Shakes all of my mirrors and didn't take up a lot of space at all. Its powered by a kenwood amp that is rated at 150 rms and man this thing sounds great especially for what it is. Im sure the larger 8 would sound better but I'm happy with the buy.

    next to my keys.

installed and fitting under the support beam, nothing was cut just removed the plastic. Im thinking of putting it back in but its at my friends house so it may be a while.
