    I'm much better now - it was the fact that i did not wake up at 4am like I have the past couple nights to hydrate & take the pain meds...
    Slept better but paid a price for it.

    It's no picnic for sure, but I can already tell the difference in the airway since the swelling has dropped some. Regardless of the discomfort, I'm glad I did this.

    I've had a windows update wipe out all of my CAD customizations before. wouldn't surprise me one bit. our IT guy is a bit of a #*&%%^&@*&^ though so there's no telling really.

    so... got a quote from the dealership to replace my windshield, $371.
    why the dealership you ask? if I were to go to a glass shop and they put in a non oem windshield the dealership will not warranty it if that windshield makes the howling noise.
    thankfully, I have glass coverage and it will only cost me $50.

    the issue was never completely resolved with my 07, and the glass shop the dealership outsourced it to put half a dozen dents in my hood while replacing the windshield, which they eventually paid for. my dealership now does their own glass work. this time around I believe it has been fixed, drove 120kph into a 60kph wind and it didn't make a sound... now I just hope this replacement doesn't have any issues.
