2nd Generation 2005+ Toyota Tacoma Shackle Flip

Looking to improve where Toyota engineers left off? Want more rear suspension droop to keep your tires in contact with the terra firma you are conquering? Did your factory shackle hangers bend and spread? Do you want more lift options? How about being able to lift without getting heavier springs or add a leafs? Look no further!

Designed for maximum adjustment to accommodate numerous spring and shackle set ups. Constructed out of 1/4" steel plate that is laser cut and bent. With two mounting options at the frame and four at the shackle, there is over 7.5" of adjustment in the shackle hanger mounting location. The hangers can also be flipped side to side for really long spring set-ups. This means the kit will grow with your truck as it changes. The factory Tacoma shackle can be retained and gives 5 mounting options. Expect up to 1" of lift with factory shackle depending on set up. Additional options open up with longer shackles. The many aftermarket Jeep XJ lift or Chevy full size drop (w/ 3" wide springs) shackles of varying lengths can be used to dial in lift and shackle angle preferences. Hardware is included.

For setting shackle angle: If you bolt the hanger in and you want a little more angle, but the next forward shackle mounting hole will give too much angle, then unbolt the hanger and slide it forward or rearward on the frame. You then have a hole in between those two previous available holes. Same thing if you want a little less angle but the next shackle mounting hole back will take too much angle away, then move the hanger and that same hole is a little closer. Shackle angle really comes down to preference and will have to be found through a little trial and error to suit each set up.

*Longer shocks and brake lines will be required.

*We recommend measuring for shock length after install as all trucks are going to be a little different.

*End of tail pipe may need to be trimmed depending on springs and shackles being used.

    2GT-ASF - $189 USD

Typical lift being gained is 5/8"-3/4". You gain 3-4" of droop with longer shocks and brake lines. Ride should be softer depending on where you set the shackle at.

No reason to weld them, but you can if you want.

I recommend running the stock shackles first and deciding from there if you want to run longer ones. You will get more droop with a longer shackle but at the same time a little more ride height.
