wheel wet on trim?

any down side to using the wheel wet on the black trim? I'm thinking i love the look, but it could collect dirt.

 

Are you talking like armor all? That kind of stuff? Not sure if you mean wheel wet as the look of the tires being wet after wash or is there a product called wheel wet?

 

yes, it's a product you put on after cleaning the tires to make them still look wet. Might be armor all..I'm at work, so i can check.

 

well they have several different products that do the exact same thing. I wouldnt see a problem with doing it. I would just let it dry completely before.

 

Are you just trying to get your black plastics shiny or are they faded and you want them black again?

 

mothers has a product called black magic or something like that . ive never used it but its for plastic parts . brings back faded black and shines as well .

 

Armor all looks good on black trim

 

Not sure if there is a down side other than the fact that after a few days of applying it it will look like it was never applied

 

Hey guys,
I just checked. It's "black magic tire wet" I put it on black fender flares and the mirror housings, and it really made them return to black, not "powdered black" as i call it.
havent had it down to the beach, so I was wondering if the parts i applied it to are going to look like a breaded chicken patty

Check the surfaces before go you go and see if they're still greasy, if not then they probably won't. if it so, try wiping them down with a clean dry rag

Wiped the excess off before I went, and, it was fine!
Also, it might be a fluke but it's easier to get highway bigs off the front with this "coating" on the front bumper.. V cool!
