    Guys need some opinions. 67 Chevy pick up had Carb rebuilt and was running good. Let it sit for a couple years. Gas went bad and the truck stopped running. Dumped out all the old gas and put in new gas. Got all the old gas out of the lines too. Sprayed a bunch of Carb cleaner through it to clean it out. Truck will now run good and idle fine but whenever you put it in gear it will die. Tried adjusting the idle but it didn't help at all.
    Any ideas?

    Sounds like the accelerator pump diaphragm has a leak. Take the air filter off and cycle the throttle - can you see fuel spray into the carb body? If you can see fuel spray then I would say check the timing.

    if it's In park you can rev the engine just fine. Just doesn't want to idle in Any other gear. Check the timing how?
