Who was that?

Who was that in the black taco on 77n that got off on exit 28 around 4 this afternoon? I was in the gray sentra. How dark are your windows and is it legal? I want to get my taco that dark. Can it pass inspection?

Most states are 32% max tint period... Stock tint on our tacomas are ~23% (for the back windows of course). I just got my front windows matched at 23%. It doesn't draw attention because its not blacked out, but you can't make me out if you looked through the window. Why don't you just go that route? Blackin windows out makes it just as hard to see out!

 

I want to tint my fronts but the last time someone did it to my '95 toyo pickup they cut the SH!T out of the rubber surround

 

Did this truck have chrome door handles, side mirrors, and tube steps? SR5 Non-TRD?

You are not the only one thats get pissed off when I see 5%

 

i have 5% on my back window and 25% on the two side windows. on a truck you can have the back window as dark as you want it.

well thats what the guy that put my tint on said. as well as my cop/neighbor. but if they "suspect" you of breaking the tint limit they do have the right to pull you over. problem is.....i have never seen anyone actually pulled for tint....at least not to my knowledge

um, it depends on where you go i guess. sometimes, they dont even bother checking tint if you go to a small shop or something. and like mentioned before, who you know and what connections you have also determines alot.

 

will just send my wife in my kids shirt to get it inspected. Oh yeah she has double D's.
