well the whole thing started in germany/belgium, local laws required that the tire tread be within the fender line. well that doesnt allow one to run wider or lower offset wheels, so they put narrower tires on the wheel to maintain legality. its honestly form > function but this is a front wheel drive car with a 1.8 t in it.... its never gonna see track time or be raced so im not worried about it.

 

mines just finished, my shoulders are still tender but im able to go out in the sun with 10000 spf on

If I was a cop I'd pull every single one of those cars over. It's got to be very dangerous to be driving a car on POS bags with 1" of tire touching the ground especially in the rain.

BTW bags ride like total shit. I was driving around in my buddys Scion a couple weeks ago and what a waste of money IMO.

At least when I put drag bags on the rear of my Mustang they served a purpose and I still had my coil springs and shocks.

first off how are they dangerous? you pay just as much for air lift as you do for suspension on our trucks. second why would you wanna pull over a car thats on bags when you running around on over sizes off road tires and no sway bar is just as worse if no more dangerous then my little car?

your buddy must of bought the walmart bags then... because bag rider bags are alot better riding then being static. he must be running a coil over bag system. it allows me to run low but if i need to raise up for off cambers and rough roads i can.

your comparing a drag car to a 4cylnder vw. if i was in it for high speed racing and auto-x my car would be sway bared up and on a set of pss9 ($4000 race coils) but since its my DD its built for looks.
