so i fucked up the locker mod. i tried it, followed all directions, except i was trying to not cut any wires. so i used the little blue connectors and just extended wires out to the relay. i plugged the relay in, all wires in correct tabs. i turn key on and could hear relay clicking when i pushed the rr diff lock button, i thought sweet!!! then i looked at the dashboard and the abs, 4hi, 4lo, and locker lights were all on, i thought, fuck!!!. so i took everything apart, plugged it all back in, and the lights are all still on! the truck is still in 2hi, i have not shifted into 4wd. i cant find the fuse for that though, anyone know where it is????? what could have gone wrong? i used radio shack part number 275-0218 for the relay, and i thought i plugged everything in right, i checked it a couple times but couldnt figure out wtf was wrong. any help would be great. i dont have to drive my truck for the next couple days so i guess its not a problem yet.

Did you disconnect the battery before you started working? And did you take pics of how the wiring was as well?

This, pics would also help. A good rule of thumb anyway is to disconnect the battery before doing any electrical work.

i dont have pics, hold on ill try to find one of the connectors i tried using. and i didnt ground the relay, i just tapped into the whi/blk wire from the harness which i thought was a ground and i think it is because the relay clicked, it just happened to fuck everything up.

Hopefully you didn't confuse the computers too much. Then you'd have to reset them.

If they are really messed up I believe you'd have to get them reflashed at the dealer.

The 4wd fuse is behind the little compartment by your left knee when you are in the drivers seat.

I am not sure about under the hood, but my diagnostic software has the 4WD fuse as being located inside the cab, on the driver's side fuse panel.
