It's a necessity. I did for sure. The sandwich thing isn't a bad idea either. I've only been to snarf once, and I'll never be the same.

I picked up a set of oem bilsteins and coilovers from a trd OR. I think they were taken off before the truck ever even left the lot. I know most of you guys take these off when lifting, but I won't be able to do a lift for a while and I only have a sr5 so I'm pretty psyched to put these on. Plus they were free! I love TW

I would have given you the TRD offroad front coils for free.

I appreciate it man. I got the shocks and coils for free! And I don't think they have ever been driven on. Now I just need leaf packs, mine are shot.

Does anyone here work for or know anyone that works for CO state corrections? I'm throwing that idea into the ring as a possibility.

I worked for KY and WY corrections, now back in WI because I have family here to help watch my son since I have full custody and I'm also trying to get into school potentially for a FF/Paramedic career. I miss CO/WY and I prefer a better paying job in the mean time while I work out school and have something to support us until I can land a job in the field I want.

I'm wanting to know how things are working for them. All corrections aren't the same, KY and WY were worlds apart. There's gotta be SOMEWHERE out there that has there their shit together.

I will tell you it is much easier to become a cop and or sheriff here in Colorado than it is to become a Firefighter. There are ems medic jobs but the money is not that great.

Easier... but not easy. ha... I left an EMS job and good connections to try the police gig in Colorado. I'm still on a bunch of eligibility lists, the length these departments take is ridiculous. Denver is going to end up being about year and a half.

Yeah no public service is super easy. But PD is much easier I can say from experience with buddies gettin jobs 5 years of them testing in fire and half a year for PD just less people applying for normally more jobs.

Yeah I heard that on the news. They were limited on the info they had though. The nerve of some people. Glad he was the only one hurt people like thy need to drop out of the gene pool anyway. Greeley is getting bad not the same town I went to college in years ago.

My wife and I are heading up to the Black Hills, SD next weekend to do some camping and exploring. I've been trying to find places to camp but everything online points to these massive campgrounds with RV's and stuff. Since we decided to take the truck we were hoping to just find some off-road trails to camp on like we can here in CO but I'm not finding anything like that in SD. Have any of you all been camping in the Black Hills and have any recommendations? I'd hate to drive all over the place trying to find a place to camp when we get there :(
