Anyone know if you can disable the beepbeepbeep alarm on the LSD. I hate it sounding off if you hit a washboard or bump.

I dont need it to tell me I slipped a bit!!!

That is actually the VSC buzzer/ beeper... telling you it is working to keep you from spinning out! I hate it too... because in H4 (TRAC ON) while fish-tailing down a sandy arroyo it is beeping every few seconds.

The only easy solution is to turn TRAC/VSC OFF (hold down VSC OFF switch for 3+ seconds while stopped). Of course you loose the traction benefit of TRAC, and it will come back on IF it thinks you are going to roll over of spin out.

Since you are 2WD, you only have to turn it off once: Stop the truck, press and hold down the VSC OFF switch for a few seconds... lights will come on letting you know VSC (and TRAC) are off. They will come back on if you are doing something that it thinks will cause a roll-over and re-activate. Also, anytime you restart the truck, it will revert to normal VSC/TRAC operation.

If you press the button quickly (moving or stopped) it will go into AUTO LSD, and VSC remains off to 30 mph. AUTO LSD is TRAC without any engine output regulation (ie. full power limited slip).

VSC is what makes the beep-beep-beep warning when you are going crazy.
