Compressed the clutch spring and also got a thinner nut. Natural length of the spring changed about 1-2 mm, between that and the thinner nut it now has plenty of room for adjustment.

1st pic: how the clutch was (as in the video)
    2nd pic: Comparing nuts
3rd pic: Change in spring length
4th pic: Nut flush with the shaft, now it doesn't even touch the spring, plenty of room for adjustment

    Will adjust properly this weekend.

    thanks again t4 btw.

A Main got the BR-XLs in stock! Already shipped out (A Main's shipping is almost as Jimmy John's delivery) - should be here Monday along with my new Gens Ace batteries. Woot!

I kind of wish I had spent the extra $20 on shipping so it'd be here this afternoon. We have a GTG at a badass trail tomorrow. Damn.

If you search back in this thread for short course stuff there's a shit ton. I'm not telling you to STFU and search or anything, i'm just saying what you want to know is already in here.

Butttt to get the party started, what are you looking for?

More performance? More durability? More awesome?

Stadium, if you want fast, smooth and handling, if you want a parachute with wheels get a SC, this is of course my opinion.

T4daddy is right. SC's look cool, but they just don't perform like other, more purpose built r/c's. They're great if you don't plan on racing

Put a stopwatch on both at the same track, and get back to us. With similar motor/battery setups of course.

im actually doing that lol i just did it with my team c ts2 and my anza chassis slash.

The team C ts2 was a little faster than my slash. sad thing is that my ts2 had a 17.5t motor and slash had a 10.5t motor lol.

i still love my slash but im glad i gave team c a chance lol. They handle freaken awesome.

Yeah, if you've got a grand or so laying around. Not trying to bust balls here, just prolly not the best class to get started with in racing.

How are you doing that, when you say your stadium is "on the way"?
