Hi-Lift Tubing Adapter

Has anyone actually tried this product before?

I'm seriously considering it. I don't have the money to buy sliders and get them welded on before hunting season but need to be able to jack my lifted truck high enough to change a tire.

What are you planning on jacking from?

With that you still need to have sliders.

I'd try the wheel lift guy and then carry a jack stand, shovel, and a ply wood base.

Max and JLee, you're right. I was looking at the pic and didn't read the description saying 1 3/4 - 2" which is obviously for sliders and not tube steps. Clearly they are just to keep the slider from sliding off the tooth of the hi-lift.

Well, since I don't have money for sliders yet, don't trust the structural integrity of the tubes or where they mount, would you say I should throw some jack stands in the truck and take the OEM bottle jack with a BIG block of wood?

that was a stupid question, I'll give you that

I think jackstands and either a wheel strap or OEM bottle jack on wood will get me by in an emergency. The wheel strap would be better on the trail though.

Yeah you can't jack the truck off the tube steps anyway you will crush them right into your body.

It works well, truck is super stable.
