Almost all Engage trucks with their "Race Spindle" sit like that, not really sure why, seems to be the way the spindle geometry is, doesn't make a lot of sense to me as it raise the centre of gravity higher then necessary

The C/O's top mount is still bolted into the stock coil-bucket but the mount seems to extend down 2" or so (almost like running a lift spacer), the top coil seems to be very close to binding at ride height, doesn't seem like there is any benefit from doing it like that.

The only issue I see with the rear is how low those bolts hang down below the springs, seems to be just asking to get hit

Maybe it's a work in progress because the front bumper doesn't look complete either, well I hope it's not.
And yeah I've noticed all the engage trucks have a pretty bulky ubolt plate, its pretty much just a flat piece of metal, it's not really stealthy or shaped at all.

    Know what I learned today?
When you cycle for full bump with SAW shocks you need the lower coil seats on the shock cause they sit on top of the lower shock end and take up 3/8th's of the shaft travel.
Whoops, first time i've used SAW shocks, super easy to rebuild though. I usually use fox shocks but I got these used for cheap... I don't like the c-clip on fox shocks, but I like everything else about them... blah

Good thing my upper shock mount tabs are tall enough to cut down and are only tack welded into place.

Haha, yep. Same with Kings, Kusters, and FOAs. I like SAWs due to the shorter body height, makes it easier to shove into fenderwells.

Looks like about 8 inches up travel 1 inch down haha. And no need for limit straps those uniball cups look plenty strong to act as a strap themselves (maybe there is one just didnt notice). In all honesty I hope that person isnt done. At ride height it looks like it has the race spindle but kinda looks stock in the pics with just horrible choice of springs. I wana hear this dude explain whats up haha

It's a work in progress. Mike has had a few sets backs with work and other things. Moved out of his parents place and saving up to finish things.

Nothing to laugh at and he doesn't need to explain why he did what he had to do to get it driving. He will be good to go once his wheels start spinning again.

Makes sense just got the impression those pics were final product. Whats wrong with wanting to hear the story from him? Theres almost always reasoning for pictures that get posted like that and many people explain it themselves. Thanks for the response

I'm headed down to the shop Monday to finalize the plan for the truck. Any last minute suggestions?

Exactly! He said the "Race Spindle" is like that. Race spindles involve cutting out the stock bucket and you will use a 10 or 12 dual rate coilover. The spindles will be taller. But you have to add shock loops, Engine cage, lots of gussets etc..
When you use the stock spindles, most guys are running an 8 inch single rate coilover with the stock bucket. (I know the pic you showed had a dual rate 10 inch in the stock bucket ) Mostly all the guys i know with Engage kits that use the stock bucket and stock spindles have 8 inch shocks. :notsure:
