I'm due for a battery finally myself. Been considering either the stock Toyota battery, which is decently priced, or a general battery (Johnson) from a parts store.... the way I understand it, theres only two companies that make car batteries, so they're pretty much all the same.

On the flip side though, I think I just found a crack in the body of my rear shock... :O

X2! I love the Diehard, and the Optima. They are both awesome batteries and never had a problem with them at all. My last Diehard lasted 11 years, and the Optima is a great dry cell. Hands down for straight wheeling, vibrations, dumping the truck on its side (I havent done that!) mounting the battery in any position, maintaince free Optima is the best bet and the way to go for sure. Their a little expensive but worth it. Plus they look like a 6- pack!

    lol. Lean fixed

driver's side rear coil was collapsed. Compressed okay, but didn't expand... at all. Coil would actually fall out of position. New ones installed, boooooyah

    List:
    New tires and wheels
Installed Teralow 4:1 kit for TCase
    Installed slip yoke eliminator
    New rear coils

Waiting for a high clearance TCase skid plate to be delivered (will raise TCase ~3") so that I can get a custom rear driveshaft built up with a CV joint

    Then I'm done haha

    Anyone know anything about amp/subs?
    Or how to install one?

    sweet, got any suggestions?
I wasnt trying to go over a single 10" or 12" since itll be sitting behind the drivers seat.
I was trying to keep the stock headunit but i can swap that out if needed.
Pretty sure ill end up setting my truck on fire if i attempted this by myself haha.

if you want to use the stock HU, you'll need a LOC. not sure how much room is behind the driver seat in a 1st gen, but if mounting depth is limited, you might need to settle on a 10" or a shallow mount 12"
