some fucker stole my brand new hi-lift jack out of my truck last night while I was at work till 11pm. Fucker cut the locks off too. I need a better way to secure it down

Very few pictures from this run. I wish I had gotten some of when I took that wrong turn and got stuck in it the ruts. I was pretty proud of getting out of there by myself. I found mud clots on my roof and had to go nearly 1/4-mile in reverse for traction, but no tow-straps were used that day!

Going to Discount tomorrow to order some new center caps. I'm tempted to backtrack the trail to see if I could find my old one though. Maybe I could also find some SWB paint too, which if the truck is any indication, is probably all over the bamboo and dead branches that lined the trail.....

It's official. We're going to the South Padre Island meet-up, and leaving Friday evening and probably stopping in Corpus, meeting more members, and caravaning down Saturday morning. Anyone like to come, and available to caravan? I'm meeting another Austin-area Tacoma here in Austin for the first leg at least.

 

Zane, what camera do you have? The light balance is always fantastic in your pictures!

 

Its a canon powershot sx 200 is
When I got it a couple years ago it was THE most powerful point-and-shoot camera on the market. It has a really advanced AUTO system that adjusts everything for me, and it does a really good job, but it's not always perfect.
I didn't upload a few that didn't have such good lighting.

 

Nice, i need to hang with you guys, looks like you found some good trails in Austin. PINS is always fun too, I have only been 15 miles down PINS for camping, but want to run the whole thing.

 

It's because of this that I felt confident to order a pair of DCSB sliders that were on sale for a rock(ha)bottom price. If they DON'T fit, who would like a pair of sliders?? I ordered them nekked so I could bedline and rattle can them to match my light bar.
