My first job when I was 16 was working at Chick-fil-a. Wow hard to believe that was over 10 years ago. We didn't really mess with the food at all but we had a lot of crazy times there. When it was time to clean the floors every night, we would dump the soapy water all over the floor in the back, then put the plastic salad bags on our feet and slip and slide all over the place. We would take the plastic trays and slide down the slides on the playground at night. We made all sorts of crazy food concoctions. Just lots of goofing off in general.

I worked at a Raising Cane's in high school and work up there part time when I want to pick up some extra cash. Lots of good stories from that place!

I've only worked in pretty nice restaurants, so nothing bad here. The worst thing that happened was the cooks going out back and smoking weed on their breaks.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I wouldn't call it fast food, but I worked in a fairly run down local restaurant a few years back as a dishwasher and table busser. The food was always prepared nicely and the cooks never did anything to the food that I saw, but the kitchen and the area where I washed dishes was a total run down, wreck. Some of the cabinets and refrigerator doors were held together with copious amounts of duct tape. Lots of the walls were greasy and covered with dust bunnies. But, even through all that, I made sure the tableware was always spot-less, and useable for serving food. I have never skimped on any job, no matter how bad it sucked, I always perform my best when I work.

I worked at a Carl's Jr back in 1980. For those who remember their crinkle fries, they were made with instant potato buds. You'd pour the buds in a machine hopper which mixed them with water and pressed them out into the deep frier on demand.

The place was always pretty clean. The floors back there got pretty slick though.
